New China climate targets are a game changer in the global fight against climate change. The EU and China have built over the years a robust mechanism for cooperation. In 2016, EU and China published the EU-China Energy Cooperation Roadmap 2016 – 2020. We are now reaching the end of 2020 and the EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform (ECECP) has launched a stakeholder consultation to develop the 2nd EU-China Energy Cooperation Roadmap which will establish the lines of cooperation for the next five years. Experts from our expert group have identified challenges and opportunities to energy transition.
The EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform (ECECP) aims to understand your views on which are the greatest opportunities and challenges for deepening the energy cooperation between the EU and China.
